–Film score or song you admire? Why?
We love big epic and powerful scores that you move and really enhance what’s happening on screen. The “Book of Eli” main score by Atticus Ross and Hans Zimmer’s score of “Inception” are two examples of scores like this. We also enjoy the quirky, moody and uniqueness of the scores Danny Elfman writes.
–If you had a time machine and could record or perform once with any artist, who would it be?
We would love to record with any of the Muscle Shoals artists or the Beatles of course.
–Moment you first knew you would be a musician?
When I first held my father’s guitar– Love at first note.
–Advice you would give to a younger family member interested in a music career?
Practice, practice, practice. Also, more practice. It’s not an easy business to get into, so maybe also have a solid day job?
–If you could master another instrument, what would it be?
Recently I started learning the ukulele. I’m already in love and want to master it!
–Favorite time of day to work in your studio?
3:30am. Not a second before. Not a second after.
